McHenry Soap Box Derby welcomes you to the “greatest amateur racing program in the world!” We are very excited to be back and racing again! Our race has been off since the COVID-19 pandemic, but now we’re ready to get back on the track!
2026 Important dates, mark your calendar:
- Informational meeting March,19th 6:30pm
- Registration deadline Friday. May 1
- Build clinic Tuesday, May 12th 6:30pm
- Mandatory meeting Tuesday, June 9th 6:30pm
- Practice run Saturday, June 13th 9am
- Race date: June 20 Winner goes to Akron, OH to compete in the World Championship Soap Box Derby Race
